The Yellow Wiggle

I guess the Yellow Wiggle guy is leaving the Wiggles. At first I thought it was either scandal, like you hear of a lot in entertainment or politics. Or maybe the actor wanted to move on in his career like the first guy from Blue's Clues. But then I felt bad to find that for the Wiggles actor, it was a health related issue, that he has heart problems when he sings and dances. Kind of hard to be a Wiggle if you can't sing or dance.

I felt even worse for him when some magazine editor said you could probably substitute him with some other yellow Wiggle and the Wiggles empire will remain the same. It's probably true in that a new 2 or 3 year old watching the Wiggles won't know about the first yellow Wiggle. But it's gotta make the actor feel a bit dispensable for someone to publish a quote like that. And I guess like Blue's Clues and The Wiggles, they have to handle and explain casting changes to the kids gently.

Kind of feel bad for the Wiggles. And we don't even watch them.
