Eli: Squeak!

I love finishing nursing Eli, not because my body gets a break, but because when I raise him up from his more horizontal nursing position, he always makes a squeak. It's not a cry, his mouth isn't even open, his eyes are usually not open. It's just a reliable squeak, as if he's a creaky door.

When he's finally upright for burping, he usually also raises his nonexistent eyebrows and his forehead wrinkles like a shar-pei dog. That he got from Tom who has a very regular 3 rolls on his forehead, which is ironic because he has no other fat on his body.

All this and his tai-chi like newborn movements and kung fu twitches, makes the newborn days a little more entertaining.

Welcome to your new blogger home. Eli sounds like a very good and easy baby. I still need to return your baby items that I borrowed from you. Let me know when is a good time to drop them off and also visit the baby.
