Tobey: Learning to tell time

Tobey can't really tell time but we're starting to make him aware of time, especially with our humongous clock on the mantle. We time his bedtime milk so that the nighttime routine doesn't drag on. He knows each number gets a triangle and he gets to drink milk until (e.g.) the big hand reaches the "12 triangle".

Of course this dawdler still has no concept of time when it comes to getting ready to leave the house!
