Library

I've never really made good use of the library previously. But somewhat out of necessity (lack of things to do), we went to the library and looked at some books. Our library also has a nice big aquarium tank with tropical fish and water fountains in the front, just in case the lure of books isn't exciting enough.

Tom and Tobey came back yesterday from the library with two books about fire trucks. It's nice to have "new stuff" to play with and yet not pay a thing! And Tom picked books on topics that Tobey likes so he asks to read them all the time. I just put Tobey down to bed with the books on his bed, before the door shut, I saw him roll over and get one of the books. He can't read them in the dark; I can only imagine that he is cuddling with it.

Such a simple and obvious resource but only am I now starting to appreciate it.
