Eli: Standing

Eli learned to stand while we were in Niagara Falls. More so than the physical milestone, we saw just how much of a social child he is.

The first time he stood, everyone was around to notice. We clapped and cheered and a big grin came across Eli's face. From then on, Tom's mom especially noticed that Eli would look around for someone to cheer him on before he'd show off standing again.

Now that we're back home in familiar territory again, I notice that he's walking much more upright when hanging on to a walking toy like the ATV. I'm not as afraid that he's going to fall forward and knock out 1 of 4 teeth. It wasn't long after Tobey stood that he took his first steps. Eek!
