A good vacation

You know it's a good vacation when...

...You don't feel like it was too long.
...You don't feel like it was too short.
...You come back to the area and feel like you've been gone for a while.
...You come back but don't feel like you're in the same rut before you left.

We had a good vacation with some awesome pictures to report (and ever the question: should we abandon old faithful Ofoto for the newest thing, Flickr?). Great memories and no major hiccups in travel to report.

The kids did well on the plane. On the way out there was much more entertaining to do (walking through aisles, etc.) but on the way home, Eli slept 90% of the long flight home which meant peace if not sore arms for me (he was a lap child). We even survived the flights on the teeny tiny planes in and out of Buffalo.

We came home to a trash smell (forgot to take out the last bag of trash from the house) but not an ant problem. The kids woke up at 5AM but we had energy to go to Whole Foods at 8:30 and Santana Row at lunch. We all got a good nap this afternoon (Tobey's still going) and we are planning out the rest of the summer's activities starting with our neighbor's party tonight. If it weren't for the darn sun that glows the sky at 4:45AM nowadays, I'd say summer is a fun season.
