Returning to MTO

My church's mom's group had a meeting Thursday night to meet with our new "mentor moms", seasoned moms who have "been there, done that" who can help support the ministry. I thought I had a conflict with a preschool meeting but it ended up I didn't. Tom was a trooper and agreed to put the kids down so I could go. It was alike an impromptu Thursday night off.

It was great to meet the mentor moms, a pastor's wife, an elder's wife, Tobey's toddler nursery teacher, and a couple of other moms I hadn't met before. But more so, it was great to think about having that oasis of time again and this year with the addition of the fellowship of these seasoned moms.

It's also nice to think about serving in hospitality again. Although I've procrasinated in preparations for this year, it'll be nice to think about doing all the creative stuff again and have a "ministry" again.
