Eli: Communication improving

Eli's communication is improving here at Gong-Gong and Grandmommy's house. No doubt because he surrounded by talking all day, including talking by Kelsey, Tobey and now even Morgan.

He regularly says, "Eeeee iiiiiii", his rendition of his name. He now adds, "Shhhh!" with his finger over his mouth. So it's "Eeeee iiiiii, ssshhhh!" I guess we do that a lot to him?

He's doing signs for "all done" and "more" pretty consistently during mealtimes. He's still shaking his head meaning "yes". And most recently, he's saying "Na na". At first I was overjoyed because I thought he wanted more banana at breakfast. Now I realize it's just a general term for "I want something".

He's also uttered "mummmmummm" and "da DA!". Unclear whether he's referring to me and Tom. I'm just relieved that he is developing some verbal ability. I was starting to get worried.
