Look Ma, no hands!

We took Tobey's training wheels off for the first time yesterday. We followed Brian & Cec's expert advice to go to the Lincoln Park athletic fields where they have astroturf. Softer for the falls. Not that Tobey took any. Tom hung onto the bike while I chased Eli around and manned the Flip (our half broken Flip...sigh...). If I were more with it with our iMac, I'd post video here...or Facebook. :-)

Today Tobey wanted to go again so I stayed home with Eli (who surprisingly did not complain about not going to the park) and Tom took Tobey. This time Tom took his hands off a little and Tobey is definitely starting to get the hang of riding a 2-wheeler.

Wow, my big baby is growing up. To think of him on a 2-wheeler, no training wheels, makes him look more big boy. Even more so than starting kindergarten in a week.
