Conflicting schedules

Today more than ever I feel like I'm on a different schedule (Eli's) than everyone else (Tobey's). One of the invaluable roles Tom's parents have been playing is waking up with Tobey in the morning. That was great this morning as Tom went to work and Eli woke every 3 hours so I was tired. I realized that if I were on my own, this could soon be one of those days where Tobey is up when Eli's asleep and the other way around. And it turned out to be true. Luckily Tobey took an extra long nap and I got a half hour at the end of the day.

I realize I miss the straightforwardness of Tobey and my mornings.
