No nap
I seem to be dropping a nap. No matter how I try to coordinate the kids' naps, they seem to have some kind of silent tag-team signaling so that one wakes when the other goes down. And today, when I did get both down for almost 2 hours, I couldn't even quite enjoy it because an hour into it, I was sure that someone was going to wake up.
Now that I'm not suffering from pregnancy fatigue, there are times I wonder if I can survive without the midday sleep. I kind of did on Sunday but I'm always a little more energized when Tom is home to help with the kids too. Anyway, there are things I want to do with my time but I haven't been used to actually using my daytime time to do them.
Things I want to do:
Pictures - uploading from our camera, putting links on my blog, making prints at Costco for friends, family or ourselves
Blog! - Notice the scarcity of blogs lately? It's not for lack of topics to blog about!
My own projects - the aging dining room wall projects (my squares of paper mounted for planning doesn't have their "modern art" look anymore), Moms Time Out planning, making cards, keep in touch with friends by email/phone
Now that Eli is sleeping longer, maybe my need for a nap is less and maybe I could get some of the above done. But some habits are hard to break -- ask any of my college friends, I've been "sleep monster" for a long time.
