Tobey: Emotionally scarred?

Tobey has now said, several times at random times, "Tobey cry Mommy turn [on] wa-wa?", referring to that time last week when we both lost it at each other because I couldn't understand what he was saying (see the post about our communication mishap). It kind of breaks my heart because it makes me wonder if that's one of those emotional moments that he will hang onto, remember and be formed from. (Boy, is that enough to put pressure on a mom to be perfect all the time.)

Sorry that I got impatient, buddy. Mommy got impatient. I apologized that day too, but I'm not sure how much that helps him heal at this age. Apparently it doesn't help him forget.
