Held captive at home

Since I have to go out this afternoon, I made it a point to stay at home in the morning and midday so I'm not in a big rush and end up arriving at my grandma's ashes' internment stressed and forgetting something important. I've been afraid of being held captive at home, captive by my kids' nap schedules but so far it hasn't been bad. I can find little things to do at home that I want to get done (or even just tidy up a little) and/or play with Tobey (which I should be doing now but find myself a little emotionally tired to do so). It also allows Eli to have his natural nap schedule which so far is working out well.

So long as our afternoon outing isn't laden with tantrums, being held "captive" at home in the mornings isn't so bad.
