Less smart than last year
I thought I was smart this year. While running errands at Target, I picked up a $2 bag of KitKats for Halloween, thinking that it was on sale, it wasn't that big of a bag (we don't get a whole lot of T-o-Ters), they're almost like a cookie so maybe not as "bad" as a pure block of sugary candy. And KitKats are cool, almost as cool as Reese's PB cups.
But then while shopping tonight for MTO going down the cracker aisle, I realized that last year I had a better idea.
Last year, I bought a big box of individual bags of Cheez-Its. It's not sugary, it's different, and we can actually use all the leftovers. And one of the kids (school-aged) that came by last year, upon me handing out Cheez-It bags said, "Cool!". The ultimate compliment for someone who always likes to have a unique idea.
So I was smarter last year than this year. I blame it on the second kid.
