Disconnected

Wednesday we were without internet all day. I thought for sure I would die without email and checking blogs or news. But it ended up being not bad at all. With the kids nap schedules, I ended up doing something in the morning and the afternoon, keeping busy all day. It also wasn't that bad just reading all my email once at the end of the day instead of the instant they come.

On top of the lack of internet, Tom didn't have his cell phone. He thought he was charging it the night before but my charger was plugged in, not his, so it died.

No email, no internet, no cell phone. If you've ever heard us complain about Tom's low-tech brother, we pretty much lived like him/his family today (they have email, no internet, no cell phones). I can do it for a day. I don't know how they survive though.
