First outing

I put my foot down and really wanted to go out for dinner tonight. It's Tom's parents last night and my parents' first so this way, we get to treat both at once and no one has to cook in the hubbub of this big "changeover".

So I get to put down in Eli's First Year calendar that our first outing was to House of Sichuan. Not terribly exciting, and how typical it's a Chinese restaurant. And the restaurant didn't have A/C for whatever reason but it didn't bother me one bit -- I was in the outside world and enjoying every minute of it.

Eli of course was asleep the whole time.
