Bye, bye, bassinet

Eli's starting to pull himself up on stuff now so it's bye, bye, bassinet. Our "bassinet" is actually the full-size of the pack-n-play, it's just elevated. But tonight as soon as I put him down for an early evening nap, he immediately pulled up on it.

Now our dilemma is how to rearrange our sleeping arrangements. The crib is still in Tobey's room but he's in his big boy bed in there too. After the fiasco in March, we're not putting them in the same room anytime soon. But we're too lazy to dismantle the crib to move over to the office/guest/Eli's room. So we're considering moving Tobey to the office/guest room so that Eli can use the crib in "Tobey's" room. In the mix of confusing options is also where the grandparents will sleep when they visit and should we get one of those nifty pop-up trundle beds that Alice has and maybe we should move the desktop over to our room but then we have to rearrange our room.

But in the spirit of starting simple, Eli is just going to have to sleep on the "ground floor" of the pack-n-play in the office. Cheryl said her second one slept in a pack-n-play in the office for a year. I laughed and yet I follow.

I have always wondered how our little boys look as they fall to sleep since we also close the door and don't look back. I'm always afraid to look in case it wakes them up. What have we been missing?
