Eli: Walking and "crawl walking"

Eli has started to walk assisted, pushing things. He's been doing great and is generally happy (except today while teething). He's doing so great that...

He doesn't really crawl properly anymore. Basically, I think he's learned that he likes to be on his feet so he doesn't crawl on his knees but on his feet. He looks like he's playing a game of Twister. It's funny, it's creative, it's weird.

I *think* I'm okay with this newfound mobility. It sure makes being out potentially easier because he won't be stuck in a stroller all the time. Then again, when Tobey was at this stage he was 1) taller and older and 2) the only kid. I look ahead to our flight to Niagara Falls in a couple of weeks and if Eli can just walk up and down the aisle of the plane several times, I hope that makes him and us all the happier.
