Eli: First steps

I was going to blog a couple of days ago that Eli took his first "semi-steps". A step he takes accidentally while balancing standing and playing with a toy at the same time.

But too late. Semi-steps have been replaced with real steps.

Yesterday, Eli took his first steps! His first conscious "Heyyyy -- what is THIS I'm doing!" kind of steps. I think it's because the day before, he and I lapped around the house 5-6 times with the doll stroller. I think that got him in a walking mood.

My mom said I took my first steps on my first birthday. Pretty close, Eli!
