More lost things
I now remember what else I lost in the last two months:
- Eli's baseball cap: So much for cashing in on hand me downs from Tobey to Eli. The very first time of the season we put on the 12-24 mos. baseball cap on Eli, he plays with it and drops it at Yew Chung. We were literally back in 10 minutes and it was gone. Luckily, I found another 12-24 mos. cap that he can wear for the summer -- I guess Tobey had two. Cost to replace: $0, so long as I can stand that Eli's cap is navy and not khaki and matching Tobey's.
The reason why I remembered losing Eli's cap is because today Tobey left his cap at the Y. Luckily they have it and I just hope no one takes it again. The only thing more disturbing about me leaving all these things behind is the fact that some of these incidents of missing things are happening at places I would have assumed safe, like the Y and Yew Chung. I remember I lose things within a short amount of time but by then, the things are already gone. Like the person who stole my Christmas tree years ago, I don't know how parents can stand to face their kids wearing OUR baseball cap and eating out of OUR lunchbox.
