Helpful

Tobey's been quite helpful lately. For instance, today he served Eli multiple servings of canteloupe so I never really had to interrupt my lunch to be serving the kids! And when lunch was over, I found Eli's milk bottle in the fridge. Tobey said he put it there (since Eli can't open the fridge yet). Not to mention that both this morning and after lunch, they played together well, letting me finish a phone call and sweep the floor.

Maybe I can get Tobey to potty train Eli and teach him to dress himself. Some say that one goal of parenting is to work yourself out of a job. I'm just trying to get it done a little earlier. :-)
