Eli: Cradle c(r)ap

Dr. Moore calls it cradle "crap" and Eli has a lot of it. Tobey did too and we happened to have some fancy schmancy Mustela special cradle cap shampoo. But alas, none for Eli so Dr. Moore said we could use Aquaphor. Tom put some on near his hairline but not all over his head. Dr. Lewis from ped urgent care said we could use baby oil and comb it out. So that's what we tried tonight.

Sigh. I had bought this baby oil gel, which is debatable whether it's easier for us than using straight baby oil. Eli's hair is all gooey, tough to wash out the oil. And combing out the "slough" really left a lot of "crap" in the comb. Whenever Tom is done with Eli's hair, it's usuallyl soft and fluffy even if it's laden with white flakes and scales. But now it's one sticky clumpy mess. I even hoped that Eli would start losing his hair like Tobey did so we wouldn't have to figure out how to clean his hair. We'll see how it goes tomorrow as far as restoring Eli's fluffy hair.
