Eli: Walking

Eli is officially walking. Starting Sunday, he was walking more than just a couple steps at a time. He can make one lap around the house with just a few stumbles. He's still doing the Frankenstein walk but walking in general is soon becoming his preferred mode of transportation.

June asked me if he was getting into any more trouble now that he's walking. Ironically, not really. He could get everywhere he needed before by crawling and pulling up. Now that he's walking, he just gets to the same places in a different way. Mobility is mobility.

Now climbing is a different story. In addition to the picnic table and futon, yesterday he climbed and sat on the train table. It just so happened that all the growth group kids were around his end of the train table playing and so it looked like he was a rock star with groupies nipping at his ankles. Seemed like he was enjoying that vantage point too. Wish I had a picture.
