No YMCA yet

Because of Eli's jet lag, I haven't been to the YMCA yet this year (i.e., this week). For being so regular before Christmas, I thought it would have been more weird to not go but in fact, I've had no problem staying at home instead. Part of it is because Eli doesn't seem as fussy eating (breakfast, at least) as he was before Christmas. So I'm not as dependent on the childcare ladies' goodwill in feeding him. The other part is that I'm still in super organizational mode so I've been WANTING to stay home and fill up those clear plastic storage bins while Tobey and Eli wander around themselves.

But organization is coming under control and so is Eli's jet lag. So I guess the true test of my commitment to YMCA will be next week. Even if I'm not dying to have Eli fed by childcare or if I'm not dying to get out of the house, will I still go? It's as if the Y is my office and I'm still in vacation mode.

I'd better get back soon. I gave myself plenty of free passes to snack or munch over the holidays because I fully expected to be back at the Y as often as before.
