Tobey: Where'd you learn that?

The other night at bedtime, Tom quizzed Tobey. Tom pointed to his palm, Tobey said, "hand". Tom pointed to his fingertip, Tobey said, "finger". We didn't know he knew the difference! Tom did the same thing with "feet" and "toes" and Tobey passed! I guess he has been paying attention all this time!

My brother Andrew was also surprised to find that Tobey knew "crab". Me too, especially since we've been rather seafoodless since the pregnancy and to protect Tobey from family allergies. We were also both surprised to find that when Andrew said that it was time to turn off the laptop to eat breakfast, Tobey pointed at the power button and said "off". Neither of us had shown him the power button and he has never seen an iBook before! Not only that, I don't think he's seen us power down the laptop or desktop before because we usually "hibernate". Maybe it was because the iBook power button was the only button outside of the keyboard area. Or maybe Tobey's a geek. :-)

Tobey finally identified the aunties and uncles (our brothers/sisters-in-law) in our family picture/prayer book, just in time for Andrew and Mei's visit.
