Christmastime is here

There's something about watching Christmas lights with "A Charlie Brown Christmas" jazzy CD playing in the background. It reminds me of my first one or two Christmases here when it was permanently playing in my Prizm CD player for all of December as I zipped up and down 280 back and forth from the city or down to SJ for church. It was the only thing that reminded me of Christmas since sunny and 60 degrees wasn't quite doing it for me.

This year, the annual debut was over dinner for two. Not me and Tom, but me and Tobey. After a week or so of being so volatile with him, but after two days of peaceful parenting, I was enjoying the music over a peaceful dinner with him rocking to the music asking for his 3rd helping of spinach. It helped a lot that Eli was napping at the time.

And of course now, blogging finally, and waiting for Tom to come home.
