Birthday parties

It's January 12. We've already been to 2 birthday parties this calendar year and have received invitations to our 3rd and 4th already.

Is this how the whole year will be like??

The sad thing is that 50% of the invitations so far are from school friends. But chances are, we won't be here for Tobey's birthday to be able to reciprocate any of the invites. I've actually considered holding an early birthday party for the boys so they can celebrate with friends they know, instead of in a new town where we won't know too many people yet. Is that weird?
